I’m off to Italy next year – to lead a writing retreat at the fabulous Hotel Leone, tucked away in the hills of Montelparo.
From May 6th to the 13th, there’ll be glorious views, wine and amazing food as we talk about writing and then settle down to write, write and write some more. There may be time for a quick dip in the pool as well.
Each day I’ll be leading a couple of workshops on key aspects of writing a novel – from plot and character to themes, pace and imagery. There’ll be plenty of free time to write, and evening discussions on the terrace about all things to do with writing and the publishing industry. The week is suitable for writers at all stages of their career. And can you imagine a more inspiring place to lift your writing to a new level?
