This book started when I saw a story about a fake fossil that fooled even the experts. As a kid, for a brief time, I wanted to be a palaeologist (as well as astronaut, rock star and actor.) I dived down a palaeontological rabbit hole on the internet and this book is where I ended up.<\/p>\n

I had a wonderful time researching it \u2013 trips to fossil sites and museums and chatting to real palaeontologists and earth scientists. Things happen in this book that I didn\u2019t imagine, or plan, until I was well into writing it, and the characters led me through their stories.<\/p>\n

But as always, it ends on a positive note, because we all need positive vibes in our lives.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
