Joe finds her working in a tiny local museum and enlists her help. As they work together at the isolated dig, she wonders if this harsh land holds the promise of a better future.

When they discover that the fossil hides a secret worth millions, accusations of theft and broken trust threaten her reputation all over again … will she stay and fight this time?

With family and love on the line, can Joe get to the truth and earn redemption? And can he convince Natasha that she doesn’t have to return to England to find the peace she craves?

Janet says:

This book started when I saw a story about a fake fossil that fooled even the experts. As a kid, for a brief time, I wanted to be a palaeologist (as well as astronaut, rock star and actor.) I dived down a palaeontological rabbit hole on the internet and this book is where I ended up.

I had a wonderful time researching it – trips to fossil sites and museums and chatting to real palaeontologists and earth scientists. Things happen in this book that I didn’t imagine, or plan, until I was well into writing it, and the characters led me through their stories.

But as always, it ends on a positive note, because we all need positive vibes in our lives.

<!--
Reviews for Safe Haven at Wagtail Ridge

'I highly recommend this heart-warming beautifully delivered story, brimming with hope, forgiveness and second chances.
