Romance and Chocolates - what a great combination<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I always try to keep my promises.<\/p>\n

Back in May<\/a> when I told you about my next novel Flight To Coorah Creek, I said there might be a small treat in store for you before its publication.<\/p>\n

Well, the book is out in March \u2013 but you get that small treat now.<\/p>\n

It’s a short story called Sweet Memory \u2013 which is your first glimpse into the world of Coorah Creek.<\/p>\n

When I first envisioned this small town, a phrase lodged itself in my head\u2026 It takes a special kind of person to live on the banks of Coorah Creek.<\/p>\n

When I write my Coorah Creek stories, I try to make the people in those stories live up to this\u2026<\/p>\n

In Sweet Memory, I have a couple who are so very special. Their love story made me cry as I wrote it during a long flight. I think the flight attendants were worried about me.<\/p>\n

The story is part of the Love Match Anthology<\/a>, published by Choc Lit. It contains stories by lots of the Choc Lit authors \u2013 many of them award winners \u2013 not to mention good friends. It’s a great way to meet some new writers.<\/p>\n

There’s a bonus too \u2013 each writer has included a recipe \u2013 involving chocolate of course \u2013 that has some resonance to their story.<\/p>\n

My recipe is for Chocolate Barbecue Bananas.<\/p>\n

Before including the recipe in the book, I had to take it for a test drive to make sure it was really really good. It was. Then I was left with all this wonderful warm sweet sticky gooey chocolatey marshmallowy mess –\u00a0 and it would have been wasteful not to eat it. Right?<\/p>\n
