The old site was nice – but it was time for a change.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

You may have noticed – my website and blog look different now.<\/p>\n

I’ve been working on this for a while.<\/p>\n

I am currently writing books set in the Australian outback – so I wanted the site to reflect that. The background image you see is a photo of red soil taken on the edge of the desert.<\/p>\n

I thought that would work well with the cover of Flight to Coorah Creek<\/em> – with it’s outback images, and the other Coorah Creek novels which will follow.<\/p>\n

Of course, as I designed it, I didn’t realise that the first book cover to go up would be Bring Me Sunshine<\/em> – set on board a cruise ship bound for the frozen wastes of Antarctica.<\/p>\n

I still think it works well.<\/p>\n

Webmaster John spent a lot of time getting everything just right – and I think the result is gorgeous. I love it.<\/p>\n

Please go take a look around. There are still lots of free reads and other interesting stuff. I’ll be posting (well – webmaster John will be posting ) some book bonus pages soon, with the story behind how I came to write Bring Me Sunshine<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Much as I love this new look – I have one small confession to make. I always loved the birds at the bottom of the page on the old site.<\/p>\n

So – here they are one last time.<\/p>\n
