The venue was the Chocolate Museum – what better place could there be?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In the words of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons \u2013 Oh, what a night!<\/p>\n

All the ingredients were there as we celebrated the launch of Flight to Coorah Creek<\/p>\n

There were books \u2013 mine and also those by fellow Choc Lit Author Beverley Eikli.<\/p>\n

And even before the wine started flowing, the most important ingredient arrived \u2013 good friends (old and new \u2013 no sorry \u2013 not old\u2026 umm\u2026 long-known???).<\/p>\n

Among them, many of my fellow Choc Lit authors.<\/p>\n

The museum is spread over two floors – so there were two floors people who love books… talking non-stop… mostly about books.<\/p>\n

Where there are readers and writers, conversation never runs short.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Of course \u2013 there were those nervous moments as I prepared to read from the book. I had to do it twice – once up stairs and once down… I don’t think it was a disaster. Once of the guests tweeted me on her way home.. saying….\u00a0 your reading made me want to read the book \u2013 AGAIN<\/p>\n

Some people had come a long way for the event – which was a lovely compliment. It was a long journey home\u2026 but there was no concern about falling asleep\u2026<\/p>\n

So \u2013 thank you everyone who came along to make the evening so special for me. I will not soon forget the warmth of the atmosphere and all the well wishes..<\/p>\n
