Hats. It\u2019s all about the hats.<\/p>\n

We have hats in Australia of course and I\u2019ve worn a few. But mostly the hats I\u2019ve worn have looked like this\u2026<\/p>\n

This is an Akubra hat, as worn by anyone and everyone in the Australian bush, including me.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Here in the UK – my hat wearing has mostly been at music festivals\u2026 and might not have been\u00a0done in\u00a0a ‘proper’ fashion.<\/p>\n

I was awake, honestly I was.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I\u2019ve never worn a wedding hat or a Royal Ascot hat – and while a part of me knows I\u2019d probably look silly in a hat like these, part of me really, really wants to wear one.<\/p>\n

I wandered through this Windsor department store, gently patting the hats and almost tried one on\u2026 but decided it would look pretty silly with the rock band T-shirt I was wearing.\u00a0 Of course –\u00a0if you like something pretty and sparkly – and that\u2019s always an option in Windsor.<\/p>\n
