It’s that time of the year again – and for me, Christmas officially started with the Romantic Novelists’ Association London and South East chapter Christmas Lunch.
Why? Because Christmas is all about family and friends. It’s about the people we care about – and the people who care about us. That’s who these people are to me. They are my extended family. Friends who stick together through good times and bad. Friends who share our journeys.
So this week – I’m just going to let the pictures talk about this wonderful group of which I am honoured to be a member.

Fabulous pictures, Janet. It was a lovely occasion. And you’re right – the times we spend with our family and friends are the best!
It was a lovely event, Liz, and RBA events are. Joining the RNA was one of the best things I have done – mostly because of the friends I have found in it’s ranks.
Great pix, Janet! 🙂 It was lovely to see you again. xx
As always Sue, there’s never enough time to chat to everyone – but it’s always great to catch up. J X
Lovely pics Janet! It was a great do with wonderful RNA company, really enjoyed it as always. Juliet’s sketch was hilarious. (Those ‘sweet treats’ didn’t last long…)
They were nice weren’t they Anita – I particularly liked the mine choc éclairs.
I had a lovely time yesterday and like you, Janet, some of my closest friends are members of the London Chapter.
It was a good lunch Jean – thanks again for all your hard work with the chapter – you are a star!
Lovely photos, Janet! And thank you for stepping into the breach when needed this year.
My pleasure Juliet – always happy to help.
So sorry to have missed it, esp the one act play. Will be back in January.
You were missed Julie – look forward to seeing you in January.
Looks like I missed a lovely ‘do’. I’d have loved to have joined you but we had parents over from abroad for our Christmas lunch. See you in 2015 at a future London RNA lunch.
Liam 🙂 xx
It would have been fun to have you there Liam. The 2015 chapter programme sounds like the greatest fun – so I’m sure we’ll get many changes to catch up. J X
